BetterSleep may offer a free trial period at the start of new subscriptions to allow our new users to explore all that our app has to offer (limited to only 1 free trial per user). Some subscriptions/purchases do not include a trial but are instead offered with a discount. Per our Terms and Conditions, we do not offer refunds or credits for your BetterSleep subscription. However, we may consider refunds on a case by case basis in our sole discretion. For subscriptions purchased through third party platforms, different terms and restrictions may apply.
Please also note of the following:
BetterSleep subscriptions may be initiated via bettersleep.com, the Apple Store, Google Play Store, or other third parties, and can only be managed through the same platform and profile with which the subscription was created.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless the automatic renewal is canceled at least 24-48 hours before the trial end date, or before the subscription renewal date noted at the time of purchase/signup.
If you cancel your trial or subscription before its end/renewal date, you will still have access to the Premium app version until the end of the current billing cycle.
Canceling a subscription does not automatically initiate a refund if it's already been charged. Click **here** to get more information about how to manage/cancel your subscription based on how and where the purchase was initiated (Apple Store, Google Store, bettersleep.com).
1. For iOS subscriptions that were purchased in the AppStore:
We are not able to issue refunds for subscriptions purchased through the Apple AppStore. Trials or subscriptions initiated on iOS in the Apple AppStore can only be managed by the user via their Apple profile. Users must contact iTunes Support for refund requests as they are handled by Apple directly. Please try the recommendations on this page:
* Useful tip: The App Store and iTunes Store policies state that all sales are final, though there are some exceptions:
If the purchase was accidental
If you have duplicate purchases
If the app does not work as described
If you are charged but do not receive the item
If the app is not compatible with your device
2. For Android subscriptions purchased in Google Play Store:
Refunds for subscriptions initiated through the Google Play Store are processed in accordance with Google Play refund policies. Google doesn't give refunds for most Google Play purchases. However, there are exceptions detailed below.
If a purchase was accidentally made by a friend or family member using your account, request a refund on the Google Play website.
If you find a Google Play purchase on your card or other payment method that you didn't make and that wasn't made by anyone you know, report unauthorized charges within 120 days of the transaction.
Request a refund for recent purchases
If it’s been less than 48 hours since you bought an app or made an in-app purchase, you can request a refund through Google Play > Request a refund
You’ll usually get a decision within 1 business day but it can take up to 4 business days.
If your refund request has been approved, see how long your refund will take. Multiple requests for the same transaction don't expedite the refund process. Refund decisions may take 1–4 business days. Check your refund request status
Request a refund when it's not listed under recent purchases
If you don't find your purchase on the recent purchases list, you can request a refund from the Google Play website.
*** If you are unable to follow the instructions above within 48 hours of the app purchase due to circumstances beyond your control, contact the BetterSleep support team. Include the following in your request:

BetterSleep does not guarantee that any request for assistance with a Google Play purchase will be successful.
3. For Web subscriptions purchased on BetterSleep.com:
Per our Terms and Conditions, we do not offer refunds or credits for your BetterSleep subscription. However, we may consider refunds on a case by case basis in our sole discretion for exceptional situations like unauthorised or accidental purchases that are reported right away. To help us locate your purchase, please provide the email used when you registered.
