Is the BetterSleep app fully compatible with the Apple Watch?

While our app offers a range of functions and features, not all are currently accessible on the Apple Watch. Presently, it primarily serves as a mixer, controller, and remote for the phone app. However, we may be expanding some of its capabilities in the future so stay tuned.

Is BetterSleep compatible with Apple Health?

Yes, if you track your sleep using a compatible smartwatch that is linked to Apple Health, you can connect it to BetterSleep to enhance your sleep-tracking experience.

How do I enable Apple Health integration with BetterSleep?

To enable Apple Health integration with BetterSleep, ensure that our app is authorized within your Apple Health settings.

Simply navigate to ProfileSettings — tap on your name — swipe down, and tap on My Data and toggle to enable the Sleep permission.

Why is my data not visible?

Please note that even if you enable Apple Health permissions to BetterSleep as above, without a smartwatch, Apple health sleep data is not available to us, resulting in an error message like the one showing below.

If you track your sleep with a compatible smartwatch that is linked to Apple Health (permission enabled), our app utilizes that data (as per below), to enhance your sleep tracking results' and experience.

*** It's worth mentioning that while our app utilizes Apple Health data for insights, it does not transmit any generated data back to Apple Health. Our app works alongside existing Apple Health information to provide a seamless experience.
